UEW signs MoU with T-TEL

The University of Education, Winneba (UEW), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a Ghanaian not-for-profit organisation, Transforming Teaching, Education & Learning (T-TEL) to effectively implement the reforms in teacher education, including the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) curriculum in UEW’s affiliated Colleges of Education and the pre-tertiary education curriculum reform.  

T-TEL signs MoU with UDS

Transforming Teaching, Education Learning (T-TEL) has signed a partnership agreement with the University for Development Studies (UDS), Tamale to improve teaching and learning in the Colleges of Education. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) took place on Tuesday, 30th March 2021 in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office, Tamale Campus. 

Emergency Remote Teaching & Learning in Public Colleges of Education- Ghana

In March 2020, Government of Ghana announced the closure of all schools as a measure to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. Government of Ghana, supported by T-TEL, instituted a Teacher Education ‘Virtual Learning Taskforce’ to ensure continuity of teaching and learning in response to school closures caused by COVID-19.

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Teacher Education- T-TEL Story of Change

Since October 2018 Ghana’s 46 public CoEs have been delivering the new B.Ed. in Initial Teacher Education, which has been carefully designed to ensure that it produces a cadre of skilled, knowledgeable, and motivated Ghanaian teachers who meet the requirements of the National Teachers’ Standards (NTS).
